A Very Happy Boy....and His Cake...

5 big candles burning bright!

ahhh....a present presence among the presents....

He was pretty specific about what his cake was to be like this year (right down to the ramp!)--and I tried my best to make it a reality. So when it obviously passed his inspection the next morning, I was pretty happy too! He actually spent a lot of the day doing just this (looking at the cake)! And a few times even said to me: "Mom, I don't know, but I just cannot quit looking at this cake!" I must say that was pretty pleasant to hear when it only takes a few hours of work and a whopping few minutes to devour!?:) Glad you had a happy birthday, bud!

Bedtime Gamma Phi!

We saw a very mini Gamma Phi Circus performance at a Kid's Expo we took the kids to a few weeks ago. Trevon was just fascinated...not to mention "inspired":) So he got me to practice a few of their "simpler" moves with him the last several evenings. I think we've/he's actually gotten pretty good!? Guess it's time to add in some more challenging acts! Ha.

Hopping Henry

He recently picked up (somehow?) the art of hopping on one foot. He started out only being able to hop a couple times, but with much determination and practice on his part, now he's hopping everywhere! And I mean, everywhere. Nature's calling? There he goes a-hopping right into the bathroom! what next......:)

oh, and thanks, Uncle Dehl, for so kindly "teaching" him that sticking your tongue out helps you balance!!!
